Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GFM2, or GTPase associated with the ribosome, is an essential protein that plays a significant role in the translation process within eukaryotic cells. Research surrounding GFM2 has been driven by its critical function in decoding mRNA into proteins, which is fundamental to cellular biology and the overall functionality of living organisms. The GFM2 protein is part of the translation machinery, specifically influencing the fidelity and efficiency of this process during protein synthesis. Mutations or dysregulation of GFM2 have been linked to various diseases, including neurological disorders and certain types of cancer, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Consequently, the recombinant expression of GFM2 has garnered attention as a means to better understand its structure-function relationships and interactions within the ribosomal complex. Characterizing the recombinant GFM2 protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its role and mechanisms, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies that target the translation process in disease contexts. This foundational research not only enhances our knowledge of ribosome function but also contributes to the broader understanding of how protein synthesis impacts health and disease.
