稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of BEST4 (Bestrophin-4) protein has garnered significant interest due to its potential roles in various physiological processes and its implications in certain diseases. BEST4 is a member of the bestrophin family of proteins, which are known to function as calcium-activated chloride channels in the cell membranes of various tissues, particularly in the retina and nervous system. Research indicates that BEST4 may be involved in epithelial ion transport and regulation of cell membrane potential, which are crucial for maintaining homeostasis. Additionally, mutations in the BEST4 gene have been linked to certain pathologies, including eye disorders and possibly neurological diseases, raising the importance of understanding its structure and function. The recombinant expression of BEST4 protein allows researchers to elucidate its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and role in cellular mechanisms. Given the pressing need for targeted therapies for conditions associated with BEST4 dysfunction, ongoing studies aim to characterize the protein in detail, investigating its potential as a therapeutic target and providing insights into the underlying molecular mechanisms of associated diseases. Understanding BEST4 not only contributes to the broader field of ion channel research but also holds promise for developing novel strategies to combat disorders stemming from its dysregulation.
