Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of pykF recombinant protein is significant due to its role in the metabolic pathways of various microorganisms, particularly in bacteria like Escherichia coli. PykF, which encodes for pyruvate kinase, is a key enzyme in the glycolytic pathway, converting phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to pyruvate while producing ATP. Understanding the function and regulation of pykF is essential for elucidating energy production and metabolic efficiency in these organisms. Moreover, the recombinant expression of pykF allows for the detailed study of its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to investigate its enzymatic mechanisms, regulation, and potential interactions with other biochemical pathways. This research is not only crucial for basic biochemical understanding but also has practical applications in biotechnology and metabolic engineering. By manipulating pykF expression, scientists can optimize microbial strains for industrial processes, biofuel production, or bioremediation efforts. Thus, the exploration of pykF recombinant protein can reveal valuable insights into microbial metabolism and offer innovative solutions to enhance productivity in biotechnology applications.
