Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MSX1 (Msh Homeobox 1) is a member of the msh (Muscle segment homeobox) gene family, which plays a significant role in various biological processes, including embryonic development and tissue differentiation. Research on MSX1 has gained prominence due to its involvement in craniofacial development and its association with congenital disorders, such as cleft lip and palate. MSX1 functions as a transcription factor, regulating gene expression critical for the formation of craniofacial structures. Studies have shown that mutations or dysregulation of MSX1 can lead to significant developmental anomalies, prompting investigations into its underlying mechanisms. The recombinant MSX1 protein is essential for these studies, allowing researchers to explore its functional properties and interactions with target genes. By producing this protein through recombinant DNA technology, scientists can analyze the effects of MSX1 on cellular processes and signaling pathways in vitro, providing insights into its role in normal and pathological development. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms of MSX1 can pave the way for potential therapeutic strategies in treating craniofacial malformations. Overall, the study of MSX1 recombinant protein serves as a vital avenue for elucidating the genetic basis of developmental disorders and advancing the field of regenerative medicine.
