Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The MSL2L1 recombinant protein is derived from the MSL (male-specific lethal) family, which plays a critical role in the dosage compensation mechanism in organisms, particularly in Drosophila. This mechanism ensures that the expression of X-linked genes in male flies is equalized to that of females, despite the difference in the number of X chromosomes. MSL proteins are essential for the formation of the MSL complex, which modifies chromatin structure and enhances transcription on the male X chromosome. Research on MSL2L1, specifically, focuses on its involvement in the recruitment and assembly of the MSL complex, as well as its interactions with RNA and other chromatin-associated proteins. This protein has garnered interest due to its potential implications in understanding sex chromosome dosage compensation, gene regulation, and its evolutionary significance in various species. By producing recombinant MSL2L1, researchers can investigate its biochemical properties, functional interactions, and overall contribution to gene expression regulation. This research not only enriches our understanding of molecular genetics but also has potential applications in areas like developmental biology and the study of sex-linked disorders.
