Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PROSC, or proline synthetase, is an essential enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of the amino acid proline, which plays a critical role in various biological processes, including cellular stress response, osmotic regulation, and protein folding. Research on PROSC has gained prominence due to its implications in cellular metabolism and its potential links to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The interest in PROSC as a potential therapeutic target stems from its significant role in the regulation of growth and survival of cells under stress conditions. Additionally, the study of PROSC and its associated pathways could provide insights into the complex mechanisms of amino acid metabolism and its impact on human health. Insights gained from the structural and functional characterization of PROSC, including its interaction with other cellular components, are paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating proline levels for treating metabolic disorders and improving cellular resilience against environmental stressors. Furthermore, understanding the regulatory mechanisms governing PROSC expression and activity may offer clues to its involvement in disease states, making it a focal point for ongoing research in biochemistry and molecular biology.
