Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CRTC1 (CREB-regulated transcription coactivator 1) is a crucial signaling molecule involved in various cellular processes, including gene expression, metabolism, and stress responses. It functions primarily as a coactivator for the transcription factor CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein), which plays a vital role in mediating cellular responses to hormonal and nutritional signals. The dysregulation of CRTC1 has been implicated in several metabolic disorders, including obesity and diabetes, as it integrates signals from the energy-sensing pathways and may influence the transcription of genes involved in glucose and lipid metabolism. Recent studies have highlighted the potential for CRTC1 as a therapeutic target for metabolic diseases, especially as it affects insulin signaling and glucagon secretion. Moreover, advancements in recombinant protein technology have allowed for the production of functional CRTC1, enabling researchers to investigate its structural properties and interaction mechanisms at a molecular level. Understanding the role of CRTC1 in cellular signaling pathways can provide deeper insights into its involvement in these metabolic disorders and may pave the way for the development of novel treatment strategies. Overall, the study of CRTC1 as a recombinant protein offers a promising avenue for unveiling its biological significance and therapeutic potential in combating metabolic diseases.
