Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TR4 (Testicular Receptor 4) is an orphan nuclear receptor that plays a pivotal role in various biological processes, including reproductive development, cellular differentiation, and metabolism. Discovered in the late 1990s, TR4 has garnered attention for its involvement in regulating gene expression in response to various hormonal signals. Research has shown that TR4 can interact with other nuclear receptors and transcription factors, modulating their activity and influencing a wide array of physiological functions. The protein's unique structure enables it to bind to specific DNA sequences, leading to the transcriptional activation or repression of target genes. In recent years, studies have also linked TR4 to cancer progression, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the functional dynamics of TR4 through the development of recombinant proteins has become a critical area of investigation. Recombinant TR4 proteins enable researchers to elucidate the receptor's mechanisms of action, interactions with ligands, and role in disease contexts. By employing techniques such as gene cloning, expression in heterologous systems, and biochemical assays, researchers strive to assess TR4's impact on cellular processes and its potential as a biomarker or target in various diseases, particularly in oncological research. The ongoing exploration of TR4 and its recombinant forms is expected to provide deeper insights into its biological significance and therapeutic applications, making it a key focus in the fields of molecular biology and medicinal research.
