  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GLUB4 is a recombinant protein that has garnered significant attention in the field of biochemical and pharmacological research due to its potential applications in various therapeutic areas. The protein is derived from the G protein-coupled receptor family, which plays a crucial role in cell signaling and communication. Research has indicated that GLUB4 may be involved in modulating neurotransmitter release, making it a candidate for studies related to neurodegenerative diseases and mental health disorders. Moreover, its structural characteristics enable it to interact with various ligands, suggesting a role in drug design and development. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have paved the way for the large-scale production and purification of GLUB4, allowing scientists to explore its functional properties and therapeutic potential more effectively. Understanding the mechanisms through which GLUB4 operates can offer insights into cellular processes and contribute to the discovery of novel treatment strategies. The protein's ability to serve as a model for studying GPCR interactions also positions it as an important tool in pharmacology, helping to elucidate pathways that could be targeted for drug development. Overall, the investigation of GLUB4 not only enhances our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also holds promise for addressing pressing health challenges.
