稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of MRAP (Melanocortin-2 receptor accessory protein) recombinant protein is essential for understanding its role in the functioning of the melanocortin signaling pathway, which is critical for regulating various physiological processes, including metabolism, energy homeostasis, and the stress response. MRAP is known to interact with the melanocortin-2 receptor (MC2R), helping to enhance its expression and functionality in the adrenal cortex, where it mediates the effects of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). Given the importance of ACTH in cortisol production and its implications in conditions like adrenal insufficiency and obesity, research into MRAP recombinant protein has garnered increasing attention. Scientists aim to develop effective therapeutic strategies targeting the melanocortin system by producing MRAP in a recombinant form, allowing for detailed studies on its structure, function, and interactions. Moreover, understanding MRAP's mechanism may provide insights into the development of drugs that can modulate this pathway, offering potential treatments for disorders linked to dysregulation of the melanocortin system. Thus, the research surrounding MRAP recombinant protein not only contributes to basic biology but also holds promise for clinical applications in managing metabolic and endocrine diseases.
