Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The PKR2 protein, or Protein Kinase Regulated by RNA, is a member of the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) family and plays a crucial role in cellular responses to stress and metabolism regulation. Research into the PKR2 protein has gained momentum due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including cellular proliferation, apoptosis, and inflammation. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of PKR2 activity is particularly significant, as dysregulation can lead to metabolic disorders, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of PKR2 in laboratory settings, allowing researchers to explore its functional properties and interactions with other cellular components. The structural elucidation of PKR2 and its binding sites can provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. As a result, PKR2 has become a focal point in studies aiming to develop innovative strategies for treating diseases associated with metabolic dysregulation and cellular stress responses, highlighting its significance in both basic and applied biomedical research.
