稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the csgB recombinant protein is situated within the broader context of research into bacterial biofilms and their associated pathogenesis. csgB is a crucial gene in Escherichia coli, playing a significant role in biofilm formation through the production of curli fibers, which are essential for adherence to surfaces and self-aggregation. These biofilms are not only critical for environmental persistence but also pose challenges in clinical settings, as they contribute to antibiotic resistance and chronic infections. Recent investigations into csgB have focused on its structural and functional properties, aiming to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying curli fiber assembly and biofilm development. By recombinantly expressing csgB, researchers can produce large quantities of the protein, facilitating detailed biochemical analyses, including studies on oligomerization and amyloid formation. Understanding the role of csgB and its protein product can lead to novel strategies for combating biofilm-related infections, emphasizing its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions. Overall, the research on csgB recombinant protein not only enhances our understanding of bacterial behavior but also opens avenues for developing innovative antibacterial treatments.
