Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKACB, or Protein Kinase C Alpha (PKA Cβ), is a vital serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including regulation of metabolism, cell growth, and differentiation. As a central component of the cAMP-dependent signaling pathway, PRKACB influences numerous physiological functions by phosphorylating target proteins in response to hormonal and environmental signals. Dysfunctional PRKACB activity has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders. Given its pivotal role in cellular regulation, researchers are increasingly focused on understanding the structure and function of PRKACB to identify potential therapeutic targets. The study of recombinant PRKACB proteins facilitates investigations into their enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other signaling molecules. This research not only enhances our comprehension of molecular pathology but also opens avenues for drug development, particularly for conditions where PKA signaling is dysregulated. Insights gained from recombinant PRKACB studies could lead to novel therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring balanced signaling pathways in affected tissues.
