Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MPPE1 (Metalloendopeptidase 1) is a type of metalloenzyme that plays a crucial role in protein processing and metabolism. It is part of a larger family of peptidases known for their ability to hydrolyze peptide bonds in proteins, which is essential for various biological processes, including cell signaling, immune response, and the regulation of biochemical pathways. Research on MPPE1 has gained traction due to its potential implications in health and disease. For instance, dysregulation of metalloendopeptidases has been linked to various disorders such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions. Understanding the structure and function of MPPE1 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its specific role in these diseases. Moreover, the production of MPPE1 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biochemical characterization and offers a platform for developing therapeutic agents that can modulate its activity. By studying MPPE1, researchers aim to uncover novel molecular mechanisms that contribute to disease progression and explore the potential for targeted therapies that harness the enzyme's capabilities. This line of research underscores the importance of MPPE1 not only in basic biological sciences but also in the therapeutic landscape, highlighting its value as a target for drug development and disease intervention strategies.
