Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COASY (CoA synthetase) is a critical enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of coenzyme A (CoA), a vital cofactor necessary for numerous metabolic processes, including the synthesis and degradation of fatty acids, the citric acid cycle, and the metabolism of carbohydrates and amino acids. Research on COASY and its recombinant protein has gained considerable attention due to the enzyme's crucial role in cellular metabolism and energy production. Mutations or dysregulation of the COASY gene are associated with various metabolic disorders, highlighting the importance of understanding its structure and function. By studying the recombinant form of COASY, researchers aim to elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms, explore its interactions with other metabolic pathways, and identify potential therapeutic targets for related diseases. Additionally, the production of COASY in a recombinant system allows for detailed biochemical characterization that would be challenging in complex biological environments. This research is pivotal not only for metabolic engineering applications but also for developing strategies to combat metabolic disorders linked to CoA metabolism, making COASY a significant focus within the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.
