Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRDX4, or Peroxiredoxin 4, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes that play a crucial role in regulating oxidative stress and maintaining cellular homeostasis. This protein is primarily localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and is involved in various cellular processes, including protein folding, signaling, and apoptosis. Research has shown that PRDX4 can modulate redox states and protect cells from oxidative damage, which is implicated in a multitude of diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Additionally, PRDX4 has been identified as having unique functions compared to other peroxiredoxins, such as its involvement in the formation of disulfide bonds and its potential roles in immune responses. Given its diverse functionalities and potential as a therapeutic target, recombinant PRDX4 protein is being studied for its structural and functional properties. This research aims to better understand its mechanism of action, interactions with other proteins, and how it impacts cellular health. Furthermore, producing PRDX4 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biochemical characterization, the exploration of potential pharmaceutical applications, and the development of innovative strategies for treating diseases associated with redox imbalance.
