Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLXNB2, a member of the plexin family of receptors, plays a crucial role in mediating various cellular processes through its interactions with semaphorins, a group of secreted and membrane-bound guidance cues. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of PLXNB2 in regulating neuronal development, immune responses, and angiogenesis. This receptor has been implicated in significant pathological conditions, including cancer progression and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a potential therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of PLXNB2 protein is essential for understanding its structural and functional characteristics, as well as its signaling mechanisms. By producing PLXNB2 in a controlled laboratory setting, researchers can conduct detailed biochemical assays and structural analyses to elucidate its role in cellular communication. Such studies could provide insights into how PLXNB2 contributes to various diseases and might lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Given the diverse biological functions attributed to PLXNB2, ongoing research focuses on characterizing its interactions with different ligands and exploring its potential as a biomarker or target for drug development. The generation of high-purity recombinant PLXNB2 will facilitate these investigations and promote a better understanding of its implications in health and disease.
