Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APBB2 (Amyloid Precursor Protein-Binding, Family B, Member 2) is a crucial protein that has gained significant attention in biomedical research due to its potential links to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease. The protein plays a role in the signaling pathways associated with neuronal function and synaptic plasticity, which are essential for memory and cognition. Research indicates that APBB2 interacts with various proteins involved in the amyloid precursor protein processing, potentially influencing the generation of amyloid-beta plaques, a hallmark of Alzheimer's pathology. Moreover, APBB2 is implicated in modulating cellular responses to stress and inflammation, factors that can exacerbate neurodegeneration. The study of recombinant APBB2 protein has become essential for understanding its structure, function, and interactions at a molecular level, facilitating the exploration of its role in cellular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative disorders. By elucidating the properties and functionalities of recombinant APBB2, researchers aim to identify potential therapeutic targets and strategies to mitigate Alzheimer's disease progression, making it a vital area of focus in contemporary neuroscience research.
