Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MOXD1, also known as monooxygenase, DBH-like 1, is a member of the flavin-dependent monooxygenase family, playing a crucial role in the oxidation of various substrates, including neurotransmitters and xenobiotics. Research into MOXD1 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in several physiological and pathological processes, including cardiovascular function, metabolic regulation, and neurobiology. Interest in this protein stems from the observation that it could be involved in the metabolism of biogenic amines and in the modulation of oxidative stress, which are critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Dysregulation of MOXD1 expression and activity has been linked to various diseases, underscoring its importance as a potential therapeutic target. Recombinant MOXD1 protein is essential for elucidating its function, substrate specificity, and the underlying mechanisms of its biological activities. Studies employing recombinant techniques allow for the production of purified MOXD1, enabling in vitro analysis and high-throughput screening for small molecules that may influence its activity. Furthermore, examining the structural characteristics of MOXD1 through crystallographic and biophysical methods can provide insights into the enzyme's catalytic mechanisms and facilitate the design of novel inhibitors or activators. Overall, the research surrounding recombinant MOXD1 protein is pivotal for understanding its biological roles, paving the way for future therapeutic interventions in diseases associated with its dysregulation.
