  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

POP7, a member of the ribonuclease P protein family, plays a crucial role in RNA processing by participating in the maturation of precursor tRNA into functional tRNA molecules. The importance of POP7 is underscored by its involvement in various cellular processes, including gene expression regulation and RNA metabolism. Research into POP7 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in understanding diseases linked to RNA processing dysfunctions, such as certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. Furthermore, the study of POP7 and its interactions within the ribonuclease P complex could reveal insights into the evolutionary conservation of RNA processing mechanisms. Recent advancements in protein engineering and structural biology techniques have enabled detailed investigations into the function and structure of POP7, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the nuances of POP7's role and its molecular interactions can shed light on broader RNA biology, ultimately contributing to the development of novel strategies for disease intervention. This ongoing research is crucial not only for fundamental biology but also for the potential translational applications in medicine and biotechnology.
