Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RXFP2, a member of the relaxin family peptides and their receptors, has garnered significant attention due to its role in various physiological processes, including cardiovascular regulation, reproductive functions, and neuroprotection. As a G protein-coupled receptor, RXFP2 is primarily activated by relaxin-2, which initiates signaling pathways that influence cellular activities and tissue remodeling. The receptor's involvement in promoting vasodilation and enhancing angiogenesis highlights its potential as a therapeutic target for conditions like heart failure and hypertension. Recent studies have also implicated RXFP2 in modulating inflammatory responses and neurodevelopmental processes, suggesting its relevance in diseases such as Alzheimer's and schizophrenia. To further elucidate the mechanisms by which RXFP2 exerts its effects, researchers have focused on the recombinant expression of RXFP2 in various systems. This allows for the detailed study of its ligand interactions, signaling cascades, and downstream effects. Understanding RXFP2’s structure-function relationship through recombinant protein studies can pave the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies that exploit its biological functions, ultimately contributing to advancements in treating related diseases.
