Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MICALCL, or MICAL C-terminal like, is a member of the MICAL family of proteins, which are known for their roles in regulating cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular processes. The study of MICALCL has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in various biological processes and disease mechanisms, particularly in the context of neurodevelopment and cancer. MICAL proteins are characterized by their ability to catalyze the oxidation of actin, leading to the destabilization of actin filaments and influencing cell morphology, motility, and differentiation. Recent research has highlighted the significance of MICALCL in mediating cell signaling pathways and its interaction with other proteins, such as signaling molecules and cytoskeletal components, suggesting its pivotal role in cellular homeostasis. Understanding the structure-function relationship of MICALCL through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its biochemical properties and physiological functions. This research is crucial, as it may uncover new therapeutic targets for diseases where MICAL pathways are dysregulated, thereby enhancing our understanding of cellular mechanisms in health and disease. Overall, the elucidation of MICALCL’s role in cellular physiology represents a promising avenue for future studies in cell biology and therapeutic interventions.
