Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MIA2 (Melanoma Inhibitory Activity 2) is a glycoprotein that has garnered attention in the field of cancer research due to its potential role in melanoma and other malignancies. Initially identified for its involvement in inhibiting melanoma cell proliferation, MIA2's expression levels have been correlated with tumor progression and metastasis, indicating its importance as a biomarker for disease severity. Researchers have sought to explore MIA2's molecular mechanisms, revealing that it may influence the tumor microenvironment and immune response, further complicating its role in cancer biology. Additionally, MIA2's expression is not limited to melanoma; it has been implicated in various cancers, including breast and colorectal malignancies. The development of recombinant MIA2 protein provides a valuable tool for studying its biological functions and potential therapeutic applications. By producing and purifying this protein, scientists can investigate its interactions with cell receptors and other signaling molecules, paving the way for novel approaches in targeting MIA2-related pathways. Overall, the study of recombinant MIA2 is critical for elucidating its contributions to cancer pathogenesis and developing innovative strategies for diagnosis and treatment in oncology.
