Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MEIS2 (Meis Homeobox 2) is a member of the TALE (Three Amino Acid Loop Extension) homeobox gene family, which plays a crucial role in embryonic development, particularly in the formation of the central nervous system, limb patterning, and hematopoiesis. Research into MEIS2 is significant due to its involvement in various developmental processes and its potential implications in diseases such as cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders. The expression and regulation of MEIS2 are tightly controlled, and its dysregulation has been linked to tumorigenesis and altered cellular differentiation. Recombinant MEIS2 protein studies provide insights into its biochemical properties, functional roles, and interactions with other proteins and DNA. These studies often involve the expression of MEIS2 in heterologous systems, such as bacterial or mammalian cells, enabling the production of purified protein for biochemical assays, binding studies, and structural analysis. Understanding the functional mechanisms of MEIS2 through recombinant protein studies may enhance our knowledge of its role in normal development and disease states, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions that target MEIS2 pathways. Thus, MEIS2 recombination protein research is pivotal for elucidating its biological significance and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in related pathologies.
