Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MED26, a critical subunit of the Mediator complex, plays a vital role in the transcriptional regulation of gene expression. This multi-protein complex serves as a bridge between transcription factors and RNA polymerase II, facilitating the transcription process in eukaryotic cells. Research on MED26 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including development, differentiation, and responses to environmental stimuli. Abnormalities in MED26 function or expression can lead to dysregulation of gene networks, which is often associated with diseases such as cancer and developmental disorders. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of MED26 in specific signaling pathways and its interactions with various transcription factors, indicating its potential as a therapeutic target. Moreover, the exploration of MED26's structural properties and its role in chromatin remodeling has broadened our understanding of transcriptional control mechanisms. Given the complexity of gene regulation, ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise functions of MED26, its interacting partners, and its contribution to overall cellular homeostasis. Insights from these studies could pave the way for novel intervention strategies in diseases linked to transcriptional dysregulation.
