  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

QARS (Glutamyl-tRNA synthetase) is a crucial enzyme that plays a significant role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the attachment of glutamic acid to its corresponding tRNA. Understanding the structure and function of QARS is essential for elucidating the mechanisms of translation and the regulation of gene expression. Dysregulation of this enzyme has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancers, making it a potential therapeutic target. Recent advances in structural biology techniques, such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, have enabled researchers to obtain detailed insights into the conformational changes of QARS during its catalytic cycle. Studies on QARS have also focused on its evolutionary conservation among species, providing valuable information on its functional importance and potential roles in cellular processes beyond protein synthesis. By exploring the biochemical properties, interaction partners, and regulatory mechanisms of QARS, researchers aim to uncover novel pathways that could be exploited for drug development and disease intervention. The ongoing research on QARS not only enhances our fundamental understanding of cellular machinery but also paves the way for innovative approaches in treating diseases associated with its dysfunction.
