  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CADPS (Ca2+-dependent activator protein for secretion) is a critical protein involved in neurotransmitter release and other secretory processes. Its role in the regulated secretion of various substances underscores its significance in both neuronal and non-neuronal cells. Research into CADPS has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neurological disorders and synaptic dysfunctions. Understanding the mechanism of CADPS, particularly how it interacts with calcium ions and other cellular components, has opened new avenues for therapeutic strategies targeting diseases such as Alzheimer's and other forms of neurodegeneration. Furthermore, CADPS is implicated in the regulation of hormone secretion and pancreatic function, making it a focal point for studies in endocrinology as well. With advancements in molecular biology techniques, researchers are now positioned to explore the structural properties of CADPS and its functional interactions within the cellular microenvironment. The study of CADPS not only enhances our comprehension of fundamental biological processes but also paves the way for innovative interventions in various pathophysiological conditions. Thus, the ongoing research on CADPS and its recombinant forms is crucial for uncovering the complexities of cellular secretion mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets in disease treatment.
