Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPB41L5 (Erythrocyte membrane protein band 41-like 5) is a member of the protein family associated with the cytoskeletal architecture of cells, particularly in red blood cells. It plays a crucial role in maintaining cell shape and structural integrity by linking the plasma membrane to the underlying cytoskeleton. The investigation of EPB41L5 has gained significance due to its implications in various cellular processes and potential roles in disease. Research has suggested that dysregulation of cytoskeletal proteins, including EPB41L5, may be involved in pathologies such as hereditary spherocytosis and other blood disorders. Moreover, the protein may also be pertinent in the context of cancer biology, where alterations in cytoskeletal dynamics can influence tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding the functional mechanisms and interactions of EPB41L5 is essential for elucidating its contributions to cell physiology and its potential as a biomarker for specific diseases. Various recombinant protein studies have been designed to characterize EPB41L5's structure and function, providing insights into its role in cellular mechanics. By employing techniques like gene cloning, expression in heterologous systems, and biochemical assays, researchers aim to unravel the molecular underpinnings of EPB41L5 and assess its significance in both normal physiology and disease contexts. This line of research not only enhances our comprehension of erythrocyte biology but may also pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting cytoskeletal abnormalities associated with various pathological conditions.
