  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MAP3K13, also known as MEKK13, is a member of the MAP kinase kinase kinase (MAP3K) family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes including apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation. Its involvement in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling cascade suggests that MAP3K13 may serve as a significant regulator of immune responses and inflammation. Recent studies have highlighted its potential links to several diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders, indicating that MAP3K13 is not just a fundamental component of cellular signaling but could also serve as a therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of MAP3K13 provides an avenue for understanding its functional roles and interactions with other signaling molecules. By generating recombinant MAP3K13 protein, researchers can explore its enzymatic activity, elucidate its role in MAPK pathways, and identify its downstream targets. This has implications for developing targeted therapies that modulate MAP3K13 activity, potentially leading to novel treatment strategies for diseases associated with dysregulated MAPK signaling. Furthermore, studying MAP3K13 in a recombinant system can unveil post-translational modifications and protein-protein interactions, enhancing our comprehension of its biological functions and contributing to the broader field of signal transduction research.
