Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MANEA (Mannosidase Endoplasmic Reticulum Associated) is a crucial protein implicated in the quality control of glycoprotein folding within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Its primary role involves the recognition and degradation of misfolded glycoproteins, ensuring that only properly folded proteins proceed to the Golgi apparatus for further processing and transport. Research into MANEA has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where the accumulation of misfolded proteins is a common pathological feature. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of MANEA can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms of glycoprotein homeostasis and the cellular stress response. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have allowed for the production and purification of MANEA, facilitating detailed studies of its enzymatic activity and interaction with other cellular components. Such studies are critical for elucidating the protein's role in the ER-associated degradation (ERAD) pathway and could lead to the development of therapeutic strategies targeting dysregulated protein homeostasis in disease contexts. Consequently, the research surrounding MANEA not only enhances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also holds promise for informing novel interventions in disease treatment.
