Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OCT (octamer-binding transcription factor) recombinant proteins have gained significant attention in the field of molecular biology and genetics due to their crucial role in regulating gene expression and cellular differentiation. Originally discovered as key players in development, OCT proteins, particularly OCT4, are essential for maintaining pluripotency in stem cells and are pivotal in reprogramming somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Their ability to bind to specific DNA sequences enables them to regulate the transcription of genes involved in self-renewal and differentiation. The research on OCT recombinant proteins has expanded to explore their application in regenerative medicine, cancer therapy, and tissue engineering. By understanding the mechanisms through which these proteins function, scientists aim to harness their potential to manipulate cell fate and improve therapeutic strategies for various diseases. The development of recombinant OCT proteins allows for detailed studies of their structure-function relationships and opens new avenues for experimental manipulation in cellular systems. Overall, the study of OCT recombinant proteins represents a fascinating intersection of developmental biology and biotechnology, holding promise for innovative applications in health and disease management.
