Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAN1C1 is a pivotal enzyme within the glycosylation pathway, specifically involved in the modification of oligosaccharides during the processing of N-linked glycans. It encodes for an enzyme with mannosidase activity, crucial for the proper folding and maturation of glycoproteins in the endoplasmic reticulum. Mutations or dysregulation of MAN1C1 have been implicated in various congenital disorders of glycosylation, which can lead to severe developmental and clinical manifestations. The ongoing research into MAN1C1 recombinant protein aims to better understand its enzymatic mechanisms and its role in glycoprotein biosynthesis. Through the expression and characterization of this recombinant protein, scientists aspire to unveil its potential therapeutic applications, including insights into targeted treatments for glycosylation disorders. Furthermore, understanding MAN1C1's functional dynamics can lead to advancements in biotechnology, particularly in the development of engineered glycoproteins for therapeutic use. Overall, the exploration of MAN1C1 recombinant protein presents significant implications for both fundamental research in glycobiology and translational medicine.
