Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPR62 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, which plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including signaling pathways that regulate mood, metabolism, and sensory perception. This receptor is of particular interest due to its potential involvement in neurobiological functions and its implications in psychiatric disorders. Research has indicated that GPR62 may interact with several ligands and modulate intracellular signaling mechanisms, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for drug development. However, functional studies of GPR62 have been limited due to challenges in characterizing the receptor's structure and understanding its signaling pathways. The recombinant expression of GPR62 protein offers a valuable opportunity to investigate its pharmacological properties, ligand binding capabilities, and downstream effects in a controlled environment. By producing GPR62 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its role in various signaling cascades, assess its interaction with potential modulators, and explore its functional significance in health and disease. This line of investigation is expected to enhance our understanding of GPCR biology and pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting GPR62-related pathways.
