Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAK (Muscle Atypical Kinase) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that has garnered attention due to its potential roles in various biological processes, including muscle development and neurogenesis. Research has shown that MAK is involved in the regulation of cell signaling pathways and influences cellular differentiation and survival, making it a critical target for understanding developmental disorders and muscle-related diseases. Recent studies indicate that the dysfunction of the MAK protein may be linked to pathologies such as myopathies and neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting its significance in both muscle health and neurological function. Furthermore, the exploration of MAK's functional mechanisms can provide insights into its interactions with other signaling molecules, opening avenues for the development of therapeutic approaches aimed at conditions caused by its dysregulation. Given these implications, the recombinant expression and characterization of MAK protein have become essential for elucidating its functional roles and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in related diseases. Researchers aim to develop robust methods for producing recombinant MAK, facilitating in-depth studies of its structure, activity, and interactions, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of its role in health and disease.
