Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRPV6 (transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily V, member 6) is a calcium-permeable ion channel critically involved in calcium homeostasis and absorption in various tissues, particularly in the intestine and kidney. Recent studies have highlighted its role in various physiological processes, including hormone secretion, bone development, and the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. The importance of TRPV6 in human health is underscored by its association with various diseases, such as osteomalacia, rickets, and certain cancers, where abnormal calcium transport can lead to significant pathophysiological consequences. To elucidate its biological functions and potential as a therapeutic target, researchers have focused on the recombinant expression of TRPV6 to study its structure, function, and regulation. The production of TRPV6 as a recombinant protein enables the investigation of its biophysical properties, interaction with other proteins, and regulatory mechanisms at a cellular level. Furthermore, understanding the molecular details of TRPV6 can pave the way for the development of novel pharmacological agents that modulate its activity, offering potential strategies for the treatment of diseases linked to calcium dysregulation. The exploration of TRPV6 in recombinant form thus represents a crucial step in bridging basic research and clinical applications, contributing to the broader field of ion channel research and therapeutic development.
