Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G2E, or Phospholipase A2 Group IIE, is a member of the phospholipase A2 family and plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including inflammation and cell signaling. This enzyme is primarily found in human tissues such as the pancreas, and its activity is linked to the metabolism of membrane phospholipids, leading to the production of bioactive lipids that modulate inflammatory responses. Research has shown that PLA2G2E can influence the progression of diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular conditions, and autoimmune disorders. Due to its significant role in these pathological processes, PLA2G2E is of great interest as a potential therapeutic target and biomarker for disease diagnosis. The study of recombinant forms of PLA2G2E allows for a better understanding of its biochemical properties, enzymatic mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular components. Moreover, the expression of recombinant PLA2G2E in appropriate systems provides a platform for drug screening and the development of enzyme inhibitors, which may alleviate inflammation and improve clinical outcomes in various diseases. Recent advances in molecular biology and protein engineering have facilitated the production of active recombinant PLA2G2E, paving the way for in-depth functional studies that could elucidate its role in disease pathology and therapeutic applications. As research continues to unfold, the understanding of PLA2G2E's structure-function relationship will further enhance its potential use in clinical settings, making it a focal point of study in the field of biochemistry and pharmacology.
