Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NQO2, or NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 2, is a flavoenzyme that plays a crucial role in cellular antioxidant defense and redox homeostasis. It is involved in the detoxification of quinones and reactive oxygen species, contributing to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Research indicates that NQO2 may have implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, due to its influence on cell proliferation, survival, and the response to therapy. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of NQO2 as a therapeutic target, as its activity can affect the efficacy of certain chemotherapeutic agents. Additionally, recombinant NQO2 protein has been successfully produced for further exploration of its structure, function, and interaction with other biomolecules. Understanding the biochemical properties of NQO2 and the pathways it influences can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms and pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing its protective functions or inhibiting its activity in pathological conditions. The production and characterization of recombinant NQO2 are essential for elucidating its biological significance and potential applications in medicine.
