Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRRC8B, a member of the LRRC8 family of proteins, plays a significant role in regulating ion channel activity and is associated with the formation of volume-regulated anion channels (VRACs). These channels are crucial for cellular volume regulation and are involved in various physiological processes, including cell migration, apoptosis, and the response to osmotic stress. Recent research has highlighted the importance of LRRC8B in several pathological conditions, such as cancer, where altered ion channel activity can lead to enhanced tumor cell survival and proliferation. The identification of LRRC8B's interactions and its potential role in ion homeostasis has drawn attention for therapeutic targeting. Understanding the structural and functional nuances of LRRC8B through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its specific contributions to cellular behavior and signaling pathways. Researchers are particularly focused on elucidating the mechanisms underlying LRRC8B's involvement in VRAC formation and its interactions with other cellular components. This knowledge could pave the way for novel interventions in diseases characterized by dysregulated cell volume and ion homeostasis. Consequently, the study of LRRC8B recombinant proteins serves as a promising avenue for advancing our comprehension of cellular physiology and aids in the development of targeted therapies aimed at modulating LRRC8B activity in clinical settings.
