Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SRPK2 (Serine/Arginine-Protein Kinase 2) is a key enzyme involved in the phosphorylation of serine and arginine-rich splicing factors, playing a crucial role in the regulation of pre-mRNA splicing. Dysregulation of SRPK2 has been associated with various human diseases, including cancer, where it can influence cell proliferation and survival. Recent studies have highlighted its potential as a therapeutic target, making the understanding of its structure and function paramount. Recombinant SRPK2 protein production allows for detailed biochemical characterization, enabling researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with other splicing factors. Additionally, the availability of purified SRPK2 can facilitate high-throughput screening for small molecule inhibitors, which could lead to novel cancer therapies. As the role of SRPK2 in cellular processes becomes increasingly recognized, research focusing on its recombinant expression and functional analysis is crucial for unraveling its contributions to splicing regulation and its implications in disease pathogenesis. Through such studies, the molecular mechanisms underpinning SRPK2 activity may be elucidated, potentially paving the way for innovative treatment strategies in the context of SRPK2-related disorders.
