Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYCT (Cyclin Y-Cyclin T) is a crucial protein complex involved in regulating various cellular processes, including the cell cycle and transcription. Research into CYCT has gained traction due to its significant role in cell proliferation and its implications in cancer biology. The cyclin family is essential for the activation of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), which are pivotal in controlling cell cycle phases. CYCT, alongside CDK partners, orchestrates the transition between different stages of the cell cycle, ensuring proper cell division. Studies have shown that dysregulation of CYCT can lead to uncontrolled cell growth, a hallmark of cancer. Additionally, CYCT has been implicated in regulating gene expression, influencing the transcriptional activity of various oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. This multifaceted role positions CYCT as a potential target for therapeutic interventions in cancer treatment. Understanding the structural and functional properties of CYCT can pave the way for developing specific inhibitors that could disrupt its interactions and thereby inhibit tumor proliferation. Consequently, research into CYCT not only enhances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also opens new avenues for targeted cancer therapies, making it a focal point for further investigation in molecular biology and cancer research.
