Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HypA is a membrane-associated protein that plays a crucial role in the maturation of nickel-dependent metalloenzymes, particularly in the context of hydrogenase activity. Its significance is underscored by its involvement in the nickel acquisition pathway, which is vital for the proper function of various nickel-dependent enzymes. Researchers have increasingly focused on this protein due to its potential biotechnological applications, including biohydrogen production and bioremediation strategies. Understanding the structure and function of HypA can provide insights into the mechanisms of nickel utilization in microorganisms, which may lead to innovative approaches in enzyme engineering and metabolic pathway optimization. Recent studies have utilized recombinant DNA techniques to express HypA in model organisms, facilitating detailed investigations into its biochemical properties and interactions. By exploring the protein's role in nickel transport and incorporation, scientists aim to manipulate its pathways for enhanced efficiency in biocatalytic processes. As the demand for sustainable energy solutions grows, the study of HypA and its related proteins offers promising avenues for developing advanced bioengineering methods that harness the power of microbial systems for clean energy production.
