Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of MVD (mevalonate diphosphate decarboxylase) recombinant protein has gained significant attention in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology due to its vital role in the mevalonate pathway, which is essential for the biosynthesis of isoprenoids, sterols, and hormones in various organisms. This pathway is not only crucial for cellular metabolism but also serves as a target for therapeutic intervention in diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disorders. Understanding the structure and function of MVD is pivotal for elucidating the mechanistic details of isoprenoid biosynthesis. By producing recombinant MVD protein in various expression systems, researchers can investigate its enzymatic properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with substrates and inhibitors. This research could pave the way for the development of novel drugs that can modulate this pathway, thus providing potential therapeutic strategies for related metabolic diseases. Additionally, the characterization of MVD at the molecular level can enhance our understanding of evolutionary biology, as variations in this enzyme may influence the metabolic capabilities of different organisms. Overall, the exploration of MVD recombinant protein represents a significant endeavor in both fundamental research and applied sciences.
