稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HSD11B3, or 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 3, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the metabolism of glucocorticoids, which are steroid hormones involved in various physiological processes, including metabolism, immune response, and stress management. Its primary function is to catalyze the conversion of cortisone to active cortisol, thereby regulating the local availability of this potent hormone. Abnormal expression or activity of HSD11B3 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Research has increasingly focused on understanding the structure-function relationships of HSD11B3 and its potential as a therapeutic target for metabolic disorders. Recombined HSD11B3 proteins have been generated to facilitate detailed biochemical studies and drug discovery efforts. These recombinant forms allow researchers to investigate the enzyme's kinetics, substrate specificity, and interaction with various inhibitors, thereby contributing to our understanding of its role in disease. Furthermore, insights gained from these studies are paving the way for the development of novel pharmacological agents aimed at modulating HSD11B3 activity, which could provide new treatment strategies for conditions associated with glucocorticoid dysregulation.
