Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MUCL1, or Mucin- like 1, is a member of the mucin family of glycoproteins and plays a critical role in various biological processes, particularly in epithelial tissues. Its expression has been linked to multiple physiological functions, including cell signaling, protection of epithelial surfaces, and modulation of immune responses. Recent studies have indicated that MUCL1 may be involved in the pathogenesis of several diseases, including cancers, making it an important target for therapeutic research. The recombinant protein form of MUCL1 allows for detailed studies of its structure and function, as well as its interactions with other biomolecules. Researchers are particularly interested in understanding how MUCL1 contributes to tumor progression and immune evasion in cancer cells. By producing and characterizing MUCL1 as a recombinant protein, scientists aim to explore its potential as a biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis, as well as its viability as a target for drug development. The ongoing research surrounding MUCL1 highlights its significance not only in basic biological research but also in the development of novel therapeutic strategies for diseases where mucin-like proteins play a pivotal role.
