稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MRPS28, a member of the mitochondrial ribosomal protein family, plays a crucial role in mitochondrial protein synthesis, which is essential for maintaining cellular energy metabolism and overall cellular function. Recent studies have highlighted its significant involvement in mitochondrial biogenesis and translation, processes that are vital for the proper functioning of mitochondria. Given that mitochondrial dysfunction is associated with various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes, understanding the role of MRPS28 presents an important avenue for potential therapeutic interventions. Research has indicated that MRPS28 interacts with mitochondrial mRNAs and other ribosomal proteins, forming complexes necessary for efficient protein translation within mitochondria. Investigating MRPS28, including the characterization of its recombinant form, can provide insights into its structural and functional properties, enabling a better understanding of its contribution to mitochondrial physiology. Furthermore, elucidating the mechanisms by which MRPS28 influences mitochondrial dynamics could pave the way for new strategies to target mitochondrial dysfunction in various pathological conditions. Given this background, ongoing studies focus on the production, purification, and functional analysis of MRPS28 recombinant protein to explore its specific roles in mitochondrial metabolism and its potential implications in health and disease.
