Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAB1 (GRB2-associated binder 1) is a pivotal adaptor protein involved in cellular signaling pathways, particularly those mediated by receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). Through its multiple Src Homology 2 (SH2) and Phosphotyrosine-binding (PTB) domains, GAB1 interacts with various signaling molecules, including GRB2, PI3-kinase, and others, playing a crucial role in processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Its dysregulation is implicated in several cancers and other diseases, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The recombinant production of GAB1 protein facilitates in-depth studies of its structural and functional properties, enabling insights into its role in signal transduction mechanisms. By engineering GAB1 in heterologous systems, researchers can explore its interactions with various proteins and investigate how these interactions contribute to diseases like cancer. Furthermore, studying the biochemical properties of GAB1 through recombinant techniques allows for the development of novel strategies to modulate its activity, potentially leading to new therapeutic options for conditions linked to aberrant GAB1 signaling.
