  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GMFg, or Granulocyte-Macrophage Factor, is a recombinant protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of hematopoiesis and immune response. Initially discovered in the 1980s, GMFg has garnered significant interest due to its ability to stimulate the proliferation, differentiation, and activation of granulocyte and macrophage lineages, which are vital components of the innate immune system. As a therapeutic agent, GMFg has potential applications in treating various conditions, including cancer, infectious diseases, and bone marrow disorders. Research has focused on optimizing its production through recombinant DNA technology, allowing for consistent and high-yield generation of the protein. Studies have also explored its mechanisms of action and the interplay with other cytokines, leading to insights into how GMFg can enhance immune responses or modulate inflammation. The recombinant nature of GMFg enables researchers to investigate its efficacy and safety in preclinical and clinical settings. Recent advancements in biopharmaceutical production and delivery methods have further propelled GMFg research, with an emphasis on overcoming challenges related to stability and bioavailability. As scientists continue to delve into the multifaceted roles of GMFg, there is growing optimism for its potential as a therapeutic intervention that could improve patient outcomes in various immunological and hematological conditions. Understanding the full spectrum of GMFg's biological activities and therapeutic applications remains an active area of investigation, promising to unlock new frontiers in immunotherapy and regenerative medicine.
