Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IκBζ (IkBz) is a member of the IκB protein family, which plays a pivotal role in the regulation of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling. This signaling pathway is crucial for various cellular processes, including immune responses, inflammation, and cell proliferation. Unlike other IκB proteins that primarily function as inhibitors of NF-κB, IκBζ has unique properties that allow it to both inhibit and activate NF-κB-dependent gene expression, making it an essential player in the fine-tuning of inflammatory responses. Research on IκBζ has gained momentum due to its involvement in various pathological conditions, such as autoimmunity, cancer, and chronic inflammatory diseases. Its expression is often induced by inflammatory cytokines, linking it to the regulation of genes involved in the inflammatory process. Given its dual role in NF-κB signaling, understanding the mechanisms by which IκBζ is regulated and the context in which it acts is critical for developing targeted therapeutic strategies. Additionally, recent studies have highlighted its potential as a biomarker for certain diseases, further emphasizing the importance of IκBζ in both basic and clinical research. This burgeoning interest in IκBζ is setting the stage for future investigations into its function, regulation, and potential as a therapeutic target in inflammation-related diseases.
