Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT27, or Keratin 27, is a type of intermediate filament protein that belongs to the keratin family, which is crucial for the structural integrity and function of epithelial tissues. Research into KRT27 has garnered interest due to its potential role in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and the maintenance of tissue architecture. Dysregulation of keratin proteins, including KRT27, has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including skin disorders and various types of cancer. The study of KRT27 recombinant proteins is particularly significant, as it allows researchers to investigate the specific functions of this keratin in cellular contexts, elucidate its interaction with other cellular components, and explore its potential as a biomarker for disease. Additionally, producing KRT27 as a recombinant protein enables studies on its structural properties and functional mechanisms, contributing to a deeper understanding of keratinocyte biology and the development of therapeutic strategies targeting keratin-related disorders. Overall, KRT27 stands as a promising candidate for further research, given its pivotal role in maintaining epithelial integrity and its potential implications in health and disease.
