稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAPN8, a member of the calpain family of cysteine proteases, has attracted attention due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes. This enzyme is primarily expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and plays a crucial role in cellular functions such as apoptosis, differentiation, and signal transduction. Research has demonstrated that CAPN8 may be implicated in the progression of several diseases, including cancer, inflammation, and neurodegenerative disorders. The investigation of CAPN8 as a recombinant protein has significant potential for advancing our understanding of its functional mechanisms at the molecular level. By producing recombinant CAPN8, researchers can study its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory pathways more effectively. This includes exploring its interactions with various proteins, which could unveil new therapeutic targets for conditions where CAPN8 dysregulation occurs. Additionally, the creation of recombinant CAPN8 facilitates the development of assays to screen for inhibitors or modulators, thereby providing valuable tools for both basic research and potential clinical applications. Overall, the study of CAPN8 and its recombinant protein form is poised to contribute to a deeper understanding of calpain biology and its implications in health and disease.
